Arts Education Programme


Performers and artistes are invited to SMSS during assembly periods. Each performance is accompanied by a commentary which provides students with information and insights about the various art forms.



The main objective of the Arts Education Programme is to expose students to the various performing art forms.


Target Group

All students.


Processes / Activities

External groups of performers are invited to perform and share their experiences with the students during the designated Assembly slots during term time.

During the post-exam period, clinicians and artistes are also invited to conduct experiential workshops to enrich students’ learning of the various art forms, such as strumming and singing using the ukulele, art, creative movement, percussion playing and singing workshops.
