Arts Education Programme

Objectives

The main objective of the Arts Education Programme is to expose students to the various art forms, to ignite their interests and develop an appreciation of the arts, through providing opportunities for them to participate in a variety of arts education experiences.

Processes / Activities

External groups of performers are invited to perform and share their experiences with the students during the designated Assembly slots during term time. These sessions provide students with insights about the various art forms.

During the post-exam period, artistes are invited to conduct experiential workshops to enrich students’ learning of the various art forms, such as playing in a gamelan ensemble, creative movement, manga art and story-telling workshops.
